Three factors affecting the welding effect of ultrasonic welding machine
The amplitude of the welding head of an ultrasonic welding machine will affect the ultrasonic energy. The greater the amplitude, the higher the frequency of vibration generated on the surface of the object. The key to the amplitude of the welding head is the transducer and the horn, which are all determined by the manufacturer of the ultrasonic welding machine. The power of the transducer used by the manufacturer and the structural design of the horn will affect the amplitude of the welding head. Once these are set, the welding performance of the ultrasonic welder will be determined.
Welding pressure is the second factor that affects the ultrasonic welding machine. It refers to the amount of pressure the equipment exerts on the two welding workpieces during welding. Excessive pressure may cause deformation of the workpiece, and too small pressure may also cause weak welding, so it should be appropriate.
Welding time is the third factor that affects welding quality. The longer the welding time, the more ultrasonic energy the workpiece will receive. In the actual welding process, the time should be appropriate and not too long or too short.
When people first start to weld a product with an ultrasonic welding machine, they need to judge the welding power, welding time and pressure according to the melting point of the workpiece, material properties and other factors, so as to set accurate welding parameters. When welding for the first time, there will definitely be poor welding results. It is necessary to continuously adjust the parameters of the ultrasonic welding machine according to the welding problem until the welding quality of the workpiece meets the requirements.
