Ultrasonic mold surface treatment process

  • 2021-06-09
Ultrasonic welding machine mold is the part of ultrasonic energy output. There will be different treatments on the surface of many ultrasonic welding machine molds. The final effect of the surface treatment is to make the mold wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, increase hardness, and increase aesthetics. First of all, ultrasonic welding machine molds mainly use three types of materials to make steel alloys, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys. The surface treatment processes of different materials are different. Today, I will lead you to learn the surface treatment process and material characteristics of ultrasonic molds.
Steel alloy: Heat treatment improves the hardness, and the nickel plating on the surface plays a role of rust prevention and a certain aesthetic effect.
Aluminum alloy: Ordinary use surface anodizing treatment to prevent corrosion, special use uses hard anodizing treatment to increase the surface hardness and prevent surface corrosion.
Titanium alloy: No need to do any treatment. It is an anti-corrosion material. After cutting, it has a good metal texture and can increase the appearance.
The characteristics of the three chaoshengb materials:
1. Steel alloy mold
Advantages: The hardness is improved after heat treatment after production. It is the most wear-resistant material among the three.
Disadvantages: the cutting process is difficult, the mold itself heats up, and it is easy to cause damage to other parts.
2. Aluminum alloy mold
Advantages: Due to its low hardness, it is suitable for cutting or engraving. At the same time, the mechanical conductivity is also superior to that of the steel alloy mold, and the heat is small.
Disadvantages: The problem of the material itself and the matching problem of the machine performance will have a shorter service life (partially), low hardness and poor wear resistance.
3. Titanium alloy mold
Advantages: the mechanical conductivity is the best among the three, the hardness is higher than that of aluminum alloy and the wear resistance of steel alloy is higher than that of aluminum alloy and the wear resistance is lower than that of steel alloy.
Disadvantages: high cost of raw materials and poor wear resistance.
